See the resounding difference between our LED Mast Lights and traditional 1,000W High Pressure Sodium Mast Lights.
This video shows the development of our LED Mast Light Technology. Outfitting the F/V Retriever showed us some shortfalls in the sheer power needed to properly replace 1,000W HPS Mast Fixtures. With newer calculations, we developed and released the Titan 540. The only TRUE Wide Lite replacement. Advancing our maritime technology capability, we are also introducing a 650W and a 1.2KW Marine LED Mast Light.
We take a systematic approach to lighting for the Commercial Maritime Industry. With PFI Electric as our partners, we installed 6, 540W LED Mast lights, and one 540W LED deck light on the Storm Petrel. Using an HPS color for the Mast lights and a softer white color for the Deck light we reduced overall wattage from over 7000 watts down to 3780 Watts, with a total amp draw of just under 8 amps on a 480 volt circuit. The lighting color removed glare, yet optimized overall visibility. One properly placed deck light provides enough coverage to fill the deck and over the rails, reducing the need for smaller, less effective flood light fixtures.

Andrew Pounder crosses a pond with 4 of our PX12 LED light fixtures on the front.
We tested one of our strongest units, the PX64, by towing it through salt water for 35 minutes. This 310W, 34,000lm fixture provides the highest lumen per watt of any Marine LED in the market today. We challenge any lighting company to put their lights to this test.
We wanted to test our PX18 to simulate the volumes of sea water it would see during a storm. Besides being the most powerful unit in its class, its integrity is unmatched.
Had a great day out on the trail with Andrew Pounder of the Washington Wet Wheelers. Check out our Warm White PX12s that Andrew uses to cut through the dust.
Our LED fixtures are designed to be exposed to the harshest environments in the world. We are so confident in our lights that when a customer asks us if they can handle the rigors of commercial fishing, we are happy to give a live demonstration.
