Greetings,

We never stop improving at PTLX Global.  We have had some incredible developments over the past few months, and we feel that you will be excited to hear about them.  Our technology has gotten sharper, brighter, and more powerful.  We hope that these improvements will keep you and your crews safer while increasing their productivity.

New Optics for the PX16

The PX16 is one of our newest products, and our Heavy Industrial customers love it.  You can find it most often on Heavy Machinery (Komatsu, Caterpillar, Terex) and Off-Road vehicles, but has adapted extremely well in every marine environment (courtesy of Inventech Marine).  As great as this 70W, 9,000 lumen fixture is, we have already made some improvements in the optics.  We have developed it in a 20° and 40° beam patterns.  This means that the power is focused into a tighter spread, allowing you to see even further than before.  Pair two 20° in between two 40° or 70° fixtures, and you will have the perfect combination of depth and width of light distribution.

Our newest breakthrough: Infra-Red

We pride ourselves in the ability to adapt our product line to meet our customers needs.  We were asked by suppliers to the US Army's Special Operations to develop an Infra-Red vehicle light.  While we had never done it before, we had a solution within weeks.  The result is one of the most powerful IR lights ever developed.  We welcome all lighting challenges, even the ones you can't see.

The Hydra System Proves Its Worth

We have had huge success in introducing the Hydra System to our customers.  This connectable system brings a level of lighting versatility that is almost unheard of in this industry.  Being able to connect 2', 4', 6', or 8' lights, with varying lengths of spacing in-between, has allowed our customers to light up any space where traditional lighting has been problematic.  The IP69K waterproofing rating, the varying colors, and the dimming option have provided control over every aspect of illumination.  You will most often find these fixtures on commercial fishing vessels (in engine rooms, fish holds, along side rails), car washes, signage, and along walkways.

The Development of LED Mast Light Technology

We have been saying for a long time that we have the LED solution to Wide-Lite/Mast Lighting.  Of course, so has everyone else.  We have heard our competitors tout that their 300W fixtures could replace the 1,000W HPS.  It is simply not possible.  Our 300W fixture, the PX64, is the most powerful LED flood light it its class, and we will be the first to admit that it falls short of the traditional Mast Lights.  So we found a better solution.  Actually, not just one, we have three.  We now have the Titan 540, the Colossus, and the Juggernaut.  But don't take our word for it.  Click the link below the picture to see the results for yourself.
